Default Tom Cruise to star in Donzi - the movie

I just read that Tom Cruise has signed on to play Don in the movie Donzi. They also said there is a long way to go before it comes to the box office.

WHAT? I would love to see a movie about DON, and why not have Tom Cruise play the man himself? Having a BIG star will certainly help bring more money and attention to the film.

I was hoping for more along the lines of DeNiro or Pachino. In any event, I hope the movie gets made.

deffinatelly a role for Pachino. I don't even like putting tom cruises name on the same thread as Pachino, or Deniro.

I think Don would be better portrayed by Tony Saprano! From photos, he looks like a tough NY guy. After all isn't he from Brooklyn? Didn't he make his money as a builder in Brooklyn?

Tom Cruise is far too wimpy and pretty to play Don.

How about Big ***** from the Sapranos? If he would loose about 70 lbs he would be a dead ringer for Don.
