Hey all,
Was going to sell my 28, but got sick of tire kickers and decided I will just keep it. The last thing to do is get rid of all the red.
Going to send the Gauges out to get blue race bezels installed. Have a blue steering wheel.. getting rid of the carbon backed poly dash panels.
I need to:
- Get the throttles plate and grips re anodized.
- Get the steering hub bezel re anodized.
- Get the passenger grab handle re anodized.
- Get new real carbon panels cut.
anybody have a good idea on where to get the new panels made and who can anodize the parts I need done?
I would just replace the throttles with new ones, but they are old school marine machine.. just easier to change the color I think.
Thanks,
Tom

The tire kickers are the worst part about selling anything ESPECIALLY a boat! Our place at LOTO is at the 18MM so it gets pretty rough. We love our 28 (green one with the Lee Aerospace wraparound) and have talked of getting a larger cat, but the thought of going through the selling process keeps me from doing so. That said, we just keep it on the rack when things get rough!
Your 28 is bad ass and I like the ideas of what you want to do with it, BUT, you might also look at hydrodipping. You can get some pretty cool looks with it.
If you ever come to LOTO, lets do a breakfast run! The Freedom 28 Skater once owned by Jim Lee is also on the lake.

Many of the parts on my 28 are from Eddie Marine. Instead of having them re-anodized or re-coated, I ordered new ones.
Still waiting for delivery, though - seems like Eddie Marine has lots to do...
