Hi ! I wanted to share my boat build with you guys. I thought it was going to be easy but the combination of excessive heat outdoors, toxic fumes, and extremely intensive labor has caused me to lose my mind. Only way I know this is I went fishing just the other day and I didn't catch a single fish. I've forgotten how to do a few things I guess but here is the boat I made...

Come to find out I need some kind of naval architect to get this sucker up on plane. I have a motor that is not charging from the alternator, i got a little water coming in through some exhaust hoses, i got issues galore, but, I think next weekend this boat is going to try to go 30 mph. I just wanted to share this here. Im reading sooo many other threads about issues people have when trying to fix or build a boat. I had alot of issues...

The motors and the back of the boat sit too low, maybe 3-4 inches above the water line. I am currently trying to make a custom riser to put on here and it is just great trying to design this stuff when I'm use to doing landscaping and having trouble tying my shoes.

this is some metal from the scrap yard but I am wondering if I hook this up will it start glowing and melt the rest of the motor....

Boat dependent. I’d have to check some with gps, but some of the smaller 18-20ft boats i work on i’d say 15mph or there abouts. A sportboat (deckboat) with a 4 blade and fin on outdrive probably less. If I remember, i’ll check when winterizing them within next 4-6 weeks.
