Default On board video of Super Fountain during the Ocean Cup race with commentary

Short video of the twin turbine powered Super Fountain navigating around Catalina Island for the Ocean Cup race last weekend. Well known racer Jeff McCann was the driver and conditions were a bit rough as you can see in video. Congratulations to Nigel and Jay on their run but I wish the Copeland/Raymarine Skater built Fountain was about 15 feet longer in these conditions. Id like to thank my team for making all this come together and Raymarine for their support and giving us the most badass equipment available today. Watch till the end to see why we had to stop during the race. Leave a comment on what you think and like and Follow our page for the next event! The Super Fountain

My good friend Steve Seaton was throttling the 47 OL "Patriotic Duty", he said the backside of Catalina was BIG! And it looks it in your video.....

Thanks for posting that! Awesome footage and really enjoyed the narration.

having grown up running the Channel Islands my whole life whether it catalina, anacapa, Santa Cruz, Santa Rosa, etc. the video of the big water at the north end of Catalina and around the point reminded me of many runs out there. Water can get stupid at the North ends of the islands as the swell wraps around. Wish we had video from a helicopter to see some of that air you were catching. Looked massive even from the front camera only.

sorry you had a hiccup in the power, that makes for a real crappy idle back, I’m sure you guys wished you had a cooler full of cold ones lol.

the fountain is amazing man. Great work. I do miss your Apache though 😉👍

looking forward to you future endeavors.

Thank you Tank! I cant wait to come back and give it another round. I have my eye on a former west coast boat that might be able to handle the big water a lot better. The fountain is just not heavy enough to crush the waves down. Makes me miss the ol Apache too

Take care Sir
