Does the 400 v10 engine work like the 600s and only the lower unit turns??

Thehulltruth has more info. I saw an R rating of 414hp for the V10, that hasn’t been announced though.

450R is 750lbs I think. 400 V10 is a nice discount and weight savings. They may need to go to 500R to justify the V8SC. I haven’t heard about it though.

v10 got a bigger lower, which is nice

the lower is bigger than mercs 5 1/4” commercial lower that avail on the 300s?. That’s bad ass. We are blowing up Yamaha 300 lowers way too often on our 40 passenger boat

hey Phil, I was told it was purpose built to be the best of both worlds, the tq of the v 12, with the bigger shafts etc from the years of the 450... a v 10 is a good solid build... stop hauling around the Glen Burnie girls and youll be fine
