Default Brunswick To Offer $11,995 Electric Outboard-Powered Boat

An affordable powerboat for a younger and broader audience that—minus the electric outboard option—might otherwise not be interested in powerboating, https://www.speedonthewater.com/brun...-powered-boat/

They can roll all that cash from student loan payments they didn't make, into this new toy.

Nope! about the only thing they have going for them is IF they have lights on them, then they can be out after sunset....PWC's cant...other then that i dont see them putting a dent into anything! People will be buying them for small lakes that dont allow gas engines on them!

Why don't PWC's have NAV lights?

I look at this new offering two ways. First, whatever brings new blood into boating is good for the industry.

Second, it might make a nice tender for a 50-foot center console.

Like anything, it will sell to those who want one. Time will tell.

I noticed 3 things….
The engine looks like a miniature V8 four stroke.
Might be the camera angle but the boat has a ‘beak’.
You don’t need a Cigarette or Outerlimits to get a good looking girl.

Because USCG regs specifically do not allow them to operate after sundown.
