Default Block identification

Good morning

Thank you for letting me join, i am looking for information on my block number #F774641 so i make sure i order the correct parts as i rebuild this engine, but i cant find anything

So I'm not that good at research either however I did find this: Mercruiser (5.7l / Lx 350 Mag Alpha / Bravo) Somewhere around a 1996?

That is not a block casting number. Not sure what that number is from.
Post what you know about the engine that you have.

Are you near Spokane? If so it wouldn’t cost anything to have Mark or Chad at Legend Performance Marine to take a quick look at it and tell you what you have.

I thought that the number he has is from the Mercury tag? I used a zero for the first number which he doesn't show. 0F774641. I used that on one of the sites and it came up with the description above.

I know little about we bought it from a guy in moses lake, to replace the engine i lost in my sea ray back in 14 after an extreme temperature drop after we had been out all day on the lake, on the side of the block is a metal plate with the numbers i wrote, if theres numbers else where i can look then up, and add

5.7 LG SGI

Know its marine, i just want to make sure i reference the right information on what i need to do to rebuild it,
