I helped a fried of my wife's clean out her garage for a house sale and she said I could have several boxes of things that were left behind. I have no idea what it is, but it was in a box with a lot of marine related tools and parts.

Man, I changed my bellhousing mounts a few months back, it was tough even with a hydraulic press. I'd like to see someone try it with this thing.

Did they change where the front of the engine sits for proper alignment? Mercury says this style mount will lower the nose of the engine about 2". Just wondering if it really does

2"? No way. Maybe 0.25". But I changed front mounts too so I really couldn't compare before and after in a meaningful way.

The kit does include some shims for the rear mounting in case you run out of front down-adjustment on your existing mounts. I didn't need to use these.
