When OSO member Mentalpause took delivery of the first Sunsation F-4 we waited for the Shootout traffic to depart and purposely ran into "storm" to check out its rough water capability. This was back when the Shootout was still in front of Shooter's 21. It aced the test. I think a busted jackshaft cover was the only casualty as it hadn't been properly welded (weld was pretty much decrative) and the tail shaft mount wasn't properly torqued on the inner-transom assembly.
