Hi all,
While putting the motor back in the boat, we stepped on and crushed the fuse for the trim tab pump. As best as I could tell, it looked like a 50A glass tube fuse. The fuse holder looks ok so all I need is a fuse.
It a Mercruiser hydraulic trim system (2000 Baja 302), maybe called "K-Planes" (?).
Are these AGU fuses? If so, will any AGU 50A fuse work? ie. are all AGU fuses the same physical size and fuse burn rate (ie. fast fail vs. slow fail?) I'm not familiar with these older glass fuses so I'm really not sure what I'm looking for here.
Any help would be appreciated!

I'm pretty sure its a 50A fuse, but there are no other markings on it. When I'm looking for replacements, I see mentions of AGU, AGC and AGW fuses, and that's where I'm a bit lost. Is the one in there an AGU fuse? AGC? Are they all really the same thing? Is it a different type of glass fuse? I also see references to nickle, gold, platinum... the one I had was silver'ish in color so I'm guessing nickle or platinum, but I don't know for sure. Diameters online seem to vary from .37 to .41in, all at 1.5".
I'm hoping some one here can give me some more specifics because comparing the one I have to the ones I'm finding leaves some questions for this newbie.
