SATA and Awita LP400 make the list a lot, not sure of the SATA part number.
I am looking for a new clear and base gun was wondering about the newer high transfer rate guns. For what I do it has to be as smooth as possible, less time sanding and buffing.

Harbor Freight $15.99 spray gun. Drill out the tip to 1.5-2 mm and go at it. Throw away when done or get extended warranty, don't clean it and return it for a new one when it won't spray. (This is actually what the cashier told me I should do)

Rookie nailed it . A neighbor back in the day used to refinish and flip the bass boats with faded glitterflake -clear combo .he would go through 2 or 3 cheapo primer guns per boat ,the gel would set up in the gun he would toss it grab a new gun a new batch thinned with acetone and keep going

When I last sprayed gel there was a FiberLay warehouse between my house and the shop. They had a gun with a 2.5mm tip for about 75$ that worked well for me. This was a 40’ hull so anything that cut
down on sanding time was welcome. If it’s a big job, try different guns because the sanding is the time killer.
