Default Hardin Seaward Series manifolds in salt water?

I'm due for exhaust manifolds on my 32 Sunsation Dominator twin 496HO's.

I currently have the original early aluminum Merc manifolds. OEM replacement are only cast iron and my boat sits pretty low at the stern as it is.

Came across these aluminum replacements that have an anode and some sort of internal passage coating.
Wondering if anyone has any experience with these in salt.

I had 2 from a customers boat I had to weld last summer.
All of the manifold was fine except where the stainless nipple threaded it. They rotted through right there. The rest of the manifold looked fine inside.
if I were installing them I’d use the resin type fittings Mercury sells or stainless marine sends with there manifolds now.

Yes, use something other than stainless and I think they’d be fine for several years.

I was hoping the OEM risers would work with these but that doesn't seem to be the case. Ill probably just go with OEM cast iron.
