Default Lake Of The Ozarks Shootout Adding Kilo Run To Sunday Festivities

For the professional boat racers who participate in the popular Central Missouri event this year's Lake of the Ozarks Shootout is going to include a kilo run on Sunday.

Looks like only the Pros can do it. Would be cool to attempt it, but sounds like it is entirely separate registration as well.

This would be a really cool "added aspect" to the week if it were organized in classes for everyone to participate in.

In order to be eligible to run in the kilo, the boat with its driver and throttleman must have competed in at least one sanctioned event/race in the last 12 months, in the same class that they are running in for the Kilo run.
I do not believe there is any distance limit for the run up to the starting points.

Rules start on page 30 https://www.apba.org/documents/10052...s%205.4.19.pdf
