Default Cool old offshore advertising

Some of you guys may know or not I do demolition and excavation for a living just recently started a job tearing down a old building in my hometown in Tennessee and discovered this it was hanging from my excavator bucket and I just happened to catch a glimpse of the word “ offshore “ and I immediately put it down and found this! Haha! Thought it was too cool not to share!

There was a time when King Cobra drives were very common on a lot of boats.

There was also a time more boats where more affordable to more people.

God I miss my 1990 Chris Craft 245LTD w/a OMC 460 and King Cobra.

I sold boats in ‘89 and ‘90 when the OMC drives were offered.

They had some good ideas but I think had no clue what 500 ft lbs of torque would do off a wave, as in, load, no load, load!
