Planning to order new throttles/shifters for my 2002 382. Anyone know if the cable entry on the stock throttles/shifters are Forward, Rear, Bottom (Push Action) or Bottom (Pull Action)?
Boat is in storage and can't easily get to it right now.

I've taken the shifters/throttles out on my 292 before, so I know what they look like, but I'm not really sure what you're asking..?
if I'm understanding your question correctly, you can do either. You can have the cable pull or push when you move the stick front/back.
it just depends on how you attach it to the base.
Mine are like these:

I'm looking at the Hardin Marine throttles and the order form requires you to select the cable entry location. I'm guessing it has something to do with the cable locations listed in this diagram from the installation instructions.
