Default Going from MPI to a carb style throttle body do I need different linkage brackets

So I am removing the MPI from ym 502 Magnum and am going to Holley HP with their 1,000CFM throttle body. To adapt the existing throttle linkage to the new throttle body do I need any different brackets or linkages?

I was told by a friend I need a Holley throttle linkage kit HLY717-7

Is this correct and is their anything else I need like a base plate bracket? The new throttle body is mounting to a Holley carb style intake drilled for multi-port injectors and a 4150 flange.
