Default I have a stupid question...

How does one remove the power steering pump pulley? I've tried all obvious things. Does it take a special puller?

Sorry for being such a simpleton

Yep, simple puller. Been there done that this yr.
It has fingers that fit around the pulley into the grooves, then a tube like thingy slides down and holds them in place. Then has a bolt that pushes against the shaft, removing the pulley. Same kit will reinstall the pulley.
I boorowed mine from Autozone. They loan tools for free you know. Just leave a small deposit. Most of the auto stores now rent tools to the customer at no charge.

Hey John... how you and the missus been? Yeh, I got the tool from Pep Boys and the job is done, so I won't need to borrow one. Thanks for the offer. Could use a little cash though if you have any of that to loan.

We'll have to do the goose again in the spring. Had a great time the day we were all there. Blew a coupler right after I got done being blown away by you. Figure it musta been slipping realllll bad leaving the goose.

Keep in touch bro,

Dave
