Default Certified Labs Mile-Hi Octane Boost/ Fuel Additive Questions..

So my Oil Salesman from Certified Labs stopped by the other day and was telling me about their fuel additive called Mile-Hi. He claims it will add 6 Octane points to my fuel which I thought was hard to believe. Just curious if anyone has tried this stuff...

It's possible. I believe 0.43oz/gal of Boostane will raise 87 to 93 and 1.83oz/gal will raise 87 to 96.

I run 87 in my 8.1L 2500 towing and it "knocks" the ping right out of it just as if I was running 93. (pun intended)

Be careful, some marketing can say "points" of octane which can be decimal points not full octane #s.
I researched and also found Boostane (and bought it as an emergency source of octane)...BUT I have not used it, yet.

I'm a user of Boostane Professional but in a boosted car that's very sensitive to different manufacturers 93octane pump gas. Yes it works extremely well. I live monitor timing retard for knock at all times. Regardless of what people say it is hard on plugs and O2 sensors though due to getting coated orange from MMT. Those get changed yearly because of it.

That would explain why I get some O2 faults on my tow vehicle. I bought new O2's just haven't gotten around to installing them yet.

I did post it a year or so ago. Maybe it subliminally made you create one.

Default Just use toluene

Just use toluene.

That’s what they use at the refinery.
