Default Donzi never had a Classic Z. Not sure what Barrie is referencing?

“We are proud to re-introduce the American Classic Z Donzi 22 Z,” Barrie stated.

The first Donzi 22 2+3 Classic was produced in 1979. It wasn't a Z model.

I get why they are keeping the 22 alive - it's a fun boat.... but, for the price I would buy a non cat powered, used boat and keep a $100K in my pocket as it seems most 22 owners kept their boats well cared for.

Nice looking machine, but unless someone has lots of easy made cash they are looking to get rid of, I cann,t fathom why any normal honest hard working person would buy something like this, for the ridiculous asking price.

What is the MSRP of this boat anyway? I didn't see it in the article. Normal hard working people (if we go by statistics) cannot afford this boat.

With a small block probably in that range. Move up to 8.2 420 and it's in the 170's. But to take advantage of that new hull bottom you'll want a 565 and ITS and you are well north of $200K.

Ya, north of 200K US dollars for a 22 foot boat. Kind of a head scratcher for me. It will definitely be an exclusive members club for the owners of those boats.
I doubt if I will ever see a real one around the 1000 islands area I live near, but, for sure, there are many multi millionaires in the area that could afford one, if they really wanted one.
Here,s a link on our local KIJIJI looking for buyers.

As a Donzi enthusiast with a 22 Limited Edition Blackhawk and a 43ZR with triple 700's, I just don't get it. Not sure why anyone would spend ~ $200k on this boat? Sure am glad to see Craig back with Donzi and at least putting out some new boats!!

You guys are funny.... have you noticed all the PONTOONS priced over $200K? Everything costs too much. But if you have it, why not have fun spending it?
