Educate me on stainless marine manifolds

These stainless marine manifolds will they stop before the hull or will i need tips? Never seen in real life so just trying to understand what i need

They look like the will need through transom tips joined to the pipes with steam exhaust hose. I see the steam hose on one of the tail pipes in the photo
