Been working on it for a month now, prepping to clear course on the first river race of the season. Was out doing some water testing a couple weeks ago and the Barnes dry sump sucked up a piece of broken pushrod from last year that finally made its way down into the oil pan I guess. The pump locked up solid and I got to paddle back to the dock 😝. So I pulled the motor, pulled the pan and checked over the bottom end, make sure everything looks healthy and nothing else is gonna wreck the new $1500 4 stage pump. Also installed filter screens on the oil pan, which honestly should have them built in but apparently doesn't. Got the motor in last week, finished buttoning up some upgrades and long running todo's and tested again Monday. Everything working great.

I had ours out last weekend with Eddie Young doing some tuning and everything was spot on, except we found the alternators are getting a little weak and a 2 bad sensors. Pulled them off and they will be like new again by Monday and Donnie @ Offshore Performance Specialties has the sensors being delivered by Thursday. A little bit of installation time and a few hours of washing/polishing then we will be ready for the summer.
