Who would like to see some new 21, and 26 outboard models? I think there is a space in the market for some OB sport boats in the 21-28' range. I get asked all the time. Would love to see a design refresh and bring back some Sutphens.
The 21 is perfectly suited for an outboard and there have been a few made in the past.
I think a big single or twin OB 26 would be really cool. The 26 may have been stretched to 28'.

The 16 is pretty cool too

please post pics of the stretched 33 ,,,,,,i like restoring and upgrading older hulls and have done a few converted to tripps,,,,here is a 32 hustler now 34 with the coversion to tripps i just got on water,,,,,,,as far as o/b sport vees,,,,,,,they were taken over by CCs and the o/b cats,,,,kinda hard to bite for a builder to rebuild molds from i/o to a modern designed o/b to sale 1 vrsing 100+ cc or cat sales,,,,,

Richie Sutphen junior has the molds to the 21 and 27. He stretched the 20 and 26 back in the early 2000s when his shop was still on Lake Hopatcong, NJ. The problem with producing a small boat like the 21 is, if you only have one on order, you still have to buy a 55 gallon drum of vinylester resin or bulk supplies of mat and glass that makes the final cost pretty steep. Richie made several of the newer 21s in IO and few OBs but never made a 27. Unfortunate for such an awesome design and quality boat to kinda fade away.
