Anyone used Stainless Marine mechanical jack plate indicators with Bob's jack plates

Stainless Marine sells a mechanical jack plate indicator for their own jack plates.

Has anyone made it work with a Bob's plate?

Doesn't seem like anyone else makes a mechanical indicator for jack plates...

I have not but I do have a SM Jack plate and the set up looks pretty simple, I can take som pics after I get it hauled out of storage
