Who has painted their bilge, how much was needed? I've found plenty of threads on quality of products, but didn't see anything on the quantity needed. Some of the products are quite pricey.
Plan on doing my Cig Bullet in the next few weeks.
Thanks

Thanks for the replies, 3/4 of a gallon was the what I was looking for.
It is stripped bare bilge, sanded, acetoned ect. I plan on rolling and brushing.
Rust Oleum is an interesting option compared to much more expensive paints. I will have to admit that stuff is pretty tough when used without hardener. I've read on here everyone who has used it has had good success. Cigrocket, what is the mixing ratio? Did you thin it with anything?

I've used Rust Oleum and Interlux Bilgekote. I got better results from the Interlux. I had a few spills of PS fluid that the Rust Oleum did not like.
Still have the Checkmate? I don't get out on the Potomac much anymore, Patuxent mostly now.

Still have the Check, but I mothballed it last winter thinking I'd have the Cig together by spring. Haha, story of a boaters life. We still get out on our bowrider or dad's pontoon. Hit us up if you're in the Potomac.

I have experienced all kinds of paints. I know people have good luck with Rest oleum but I would not use it again I didn’t like how it held up. I would roll 545 epoxy primmer then alwcraft 2000. I sprayed mine but you can roll as well the stuff is marine paint and is unbelievable.
