Got a 502 525,600, 700 motor it's a 7.7 2 1 compression motor has merc cam ,anybody ever run that combo with a carb?or a 671 blower ,I had a 502 hydraulic flat tappet cam 9 2 1 compression motor before in boat before . Am I wasting my time normaly aspirated or it just needs boost? Looking for ideas it's in a 30 ft single pad bottom boat w bravo

At a 7.7 comp ratio, it will need boost to make more than about 400hp.

What do mean when you say its a 525 600 700 motor??

The 525s,600s,700s,all use sam3 block head combo
