Cobalt Condurre 300 Thru-Hull exhaust dry-rot.

It seems to extend down about 6-8"...hollow sound.
Everywhere else is solid.
Glassdave will hopefully chime in...lol...
My thought was to clean out the soft dead wood between the transom inner and outer glass.
Use a good penetrating sealer on the then exposed good hard wood. (In the now hollow core area)
Then refill the hollow with a glass fibre resin system.
Something along those lines.
I'm not averse to pulling the inside glass off in that section, but it seems this maybe a solution that does not compromise strength.
Arneson ASD6 twins.
No engine weight on transom.
