I have a 1998 Outlaw 25 with external steering cylinder. The high pressure power steering hose about 5ft long connects to a billet aluminum canister about 6" long 4" in diameter. The high pressure hose is leaking at the JIC fitting. Took the boat to a local dealer for a few repairs and asked to have the high pressure hose replaced. When I picked up the boat the service manager informed me they did not replace the power steering hose as they have never seen anything like it? I have done some research but have not located a direct replacement hose. Anything special about the brass JIC fitting? Should be able to take to a hydraulic repair shop and have them make one? Or anyone know of a direct replacement hose complete?
Thank you.

Yep, a hydraulic hose shop will be able to fix you up. If the hose it good, a new fitting can be swapped. I have no idea what a hydraulic repair shop would charge to fix it in the boat. Any work that I do around that stuff involves me taking it apart and taking it to the right people to get the job done. But then again, I do not let anyone touch my boat but me (unless I'm supervising).
