Default Shift-cut switch, do all mercruiser BRAVO setups have one?

Im switching my 1996 Baja 252 over from the factory MPI to a Holley EFI system but im curious if it has a shift/ignition cut switch? If so where would it be located I do not see it on any of the shift cable brackets. The new EFI is a throttle body system using a 4150 flange carb style bracket & intake.

Did a little google search and it seems my answer is NO as the gears are coned in a bravo so its not needed where an alpha they are not so they wont mesh without an interrupter switch. This a true fact?

There's a neutral safety switch in the shifter to prevent you from starting the engine while in gear that sometimes will get triggered if the shifter is not 100% in the neutral position.....but only the Alphas have the shift/ign interrupt switch....

Yep, no shift interrupt on a Bravo setup.

This is my first bravo I have had a few alphas but thank you for confirming. Amazing how much nicer a bravo shifts over an alpha!!

Ever have someone working the sticks on a Bravo boat goose it into gear with the RPM's too high? Usually in a panic docking situation. Crunch.....

I've almost done it, I was not on plane but RPMs were maybe 1,300 and i went to yank it back to idle and pulled the gear selector instead of throttle.
