I am headed to the race tomorrow in Sarasota (Lido Beach) and I want to watch the race from the beach. I need advice and guidance with the following questions:
1. Where is the best place on the beach to watch the race? Coolidge Park?
2. Where is the start finish line for the race in relation to the hotels? By the Ritz? Lido Beach Resort? What is the closest hotel/resort to the finish line?
3. I am not buying the VIP package so is it recommended that I found parking over in the city, and then have Lyft or Uber take me to Lido beach? Or is there parking out on Lido beach (I don't think that is possible with less than a 30-minute walk)?
4. If I need to use a restroom and be on the beach what hotel or resort has accommodations that will permit non guests?
I appreciate the wisdom of the OSO members, please advise me.

I was going to run a small CC out and watch but had to hang out at home until a plumber finished up fixing a weird leak in the laundry room,
so I watched todays on TV. I see it was a $hitty day for the Phantom’s in class 5.
Noli’s right about the tiki bar at Lido Resort.

The Lido Beach Resort is awesome, but not open to the public. I am here now waiting on the next race, waterfront seating is limited I am 15 feet from the water at the start finish line. The resort was extremely accommodating, great view, good food, helpful staff.

Yeah I forgot we were staying there that weekend, wife likes to go a couple times a year. I remember it being a great view, we watched Will Smith win his class that year. I liked it as well or better than the boat actually, the drinks at the tiki bar 👍
