Wanna book it and go for the OPA championships nov 16-19.
like to come in under a thousand, and be in a clean place.
Don't like people, crowds, waiting lines at restaurants, loud parties, etc.
haven't been anywhere or at any event in a long while. Heard englewood was nice and the event was a good time.
I'm seriously asking and probably buy some nice clothes instead of showing up in sun faded
t-shirts and boat shoes with no holes instead of the ones i'm wearing now that are on the way to becoming sandles.

Englewood in winter, dinner is 2:30 pm if you want to beat the blue hairs from up north.
VRBO a small rental on Manasota key so you won't have to deal with traffic. South of the circle/bridge is nice since you can walk to stump pass state park and all the restaurants are a walk as well. I just looked at there are some 1 br at $130-155 a night on the beach.
Your attire is perfect for the white elephant, possibly overdressed.

We did an ABB there in 2018'ish right behind the main street where the boat parade is and across from Indian Mound park. There was enough room for my rig (58") and it was quiet. I hate hotels, i's like apartment life, never get any sleep.

I would suggest Airbnb or VRBO, look for properties in Manasota Key. I would also recommend Manasota Key Resort phone #+1 (941) 474-3431, not sure if they have availability, this is my first choice if I were from out of town.

we rented an RV through VRBO about a 1/4 mile away from the pits last year, room for two of us, shower, etc. was cheap and everything we needed since we spent the majority of the weekend in the pits at our friends camper they pulled their race boat down with.

i hate hotels too, last night i paid 170 bucks double queen with a small living room and 2 tvs 5 minutes from lake norman, doesnt matter brand or location somethings always dirty or feels dirty. negative on the vet discount at that place.
up in cleveland for a bit, bit and a half, but englewood is 3 hours-ish from my house,
appreciate the feed back from evereyone i seen some small vrbo i liked [online pics], it's all about not feeling like i should take a shower after i take a shower but sat down on the furniture. should have it lined up by end of week
