Default Need a Mercruiser 502 service manual
I am going to be replacing the gasket on one of the valve covers and I was curious if anyone has a link to the service manual so I can get the torque specs for the cover as well as the riser I need to remove.

Stamped steel valve cover (MkIV)?
Or cast aluminum valve cover (Gen5,6)?

1/4” ratchet. Tighten with hand on head of ratchet. Pinky on the arm if it.
