Default Storing tires

Bought some take off new tires for my truck as well as a spare take off set for daughters car .

suggestions on how to store in a non climate controlled storage . Unit stays pretty hot .

Heat doesn't matter they'll store much cooler than what they run at. Keep them out of UV and away from moisture.

Yep, just keep them covered from any UV/sunlight.

How long are you going to store them? Time kills all tires....in use or not.

Stack the tires on their side walls. Check the sidewalls for date of manufacturer. What is it? Tires should be replaced every 6 years whether they have tread or not.

"Manufacturers recommend changing tires every 10 years. As long as tires are properly stored before they are sold, the year of their manufacture will not shorten their service life." I have been seeing this comment on several websites, makes you think they have old tires they want to clear out....
