Default Engine dropping rpm forward / reverse

On the trailer noticed rpm drops while shifting in gear. SM3 drives with bam 1350 trans. Drained outdrive fluid and looked good and drain plug magnet minimal shavings. (Normal).

neutral prop shaft spins like it’s sister. 😂

Other side rpm doesn’t change (on trailer)

Probably going to need more details, what ignition does it have (timing advance when the rpm drops below a certain RPM), how much does it drop, enough to stall it out, does the sister drop at all? Stuff like that. Is it new to you? It will take some hp to pump the transmission and spin the drive, how much I have no clue.

If fuel injected, a bad IAC could do that.
