Just changed the sensors on the exhaust manifolds and the one behind the heat exchanger. The temp on the dash says above 190 and my scanner says its around 170. Guardian keeps kicking in. kinda lost at the moment any help would be appreciated

These 496 HOs have a ton of sensors and I am just trying to figure them out as I go (new to me). My dash gauges are way off relative to the what the CPU reader is saying.
Mine was not going into guardian but both had "Block PSI" for water pressures over 45PSI which never moved. Removed and replaced them and now at 32-35 at idle and jump up a little when revving. Temps never went over 170 and stats are 160s from the factory. Seems like they should have been in guardian if PSI sensors were bad.

ok, ECM sees problems with water pressure and this would put motor in guardian. Normally a bad sensor would show lower but figure to high also is error

So you should be ok now, right?
