well,
I asked you Cincinnati guys before about the area.
The "wife" is heading down to Hebron KY tommorrow to check out the new job - the final decision to move hasn't been made yet - but it looks to be leaning in that direction, ( in other words - I'll need to soon be learning where the good bars and marinas are).
Now my problem is -
I need a job!!!
I'm a cabinet maker/Finish carpenter - also plenty years as a construction project manager - currently employed by a window replacement co. as installation management.
I guess I'm gonna be looking for a job in Cincinnati soon, - so....
Anyone looking for a business/Project manager with 15 years exp.???
I've always been based in construction/remodeling - but business managemnt skills can carry over pretty easily ( come on, - it's really babysitting and getting a job done - just a little more glorified....)
well, - looks like I'll be meeting up with you guys soon -
Any suggestions or help as far as work would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tim

Welcome to the Queen City.....our football team sucks.....
Whata part of town are you considering moving to? I do not have any leads on work, but I can help you with anything else you may need. We have quite a high performance boating scene here in the summer, so get ready to burn some gas

well - it's going through - the job offer looks good and the re-location package is acceptable.
Now the big question???
Where are good parts of town or bad parts??
Any benefits to living in Kentucky vs. Ohio
????
The job is in Hebron, - so want to be fairly close.
Hows The highway system and Traffic?
When I lived in Pittsburgh it took 1-1/2 to 2 hr to travel 23 miles to work each way - made for a very long day - trying to avoid getting in to that again.
planning on moving down the first or second week of Jan - so I need to do some homework to set up housing.
I appreciate any suggestions.
also.... - looking for a house to rent - I have 2 Dogs - usually apartments don't take to kindly to that.
Thanks , - look forward to meeting you when I get there.

I might have a contact for you on the job end. I have a friend who is a project manager for a pretty good size company in nothern ky. I will talk to him this week and see what they have going on. As far as places to live the West side is the best side!
Right Allan!

Baja - thanks for looking out for me. would love to try to set something up before I get there. Should be right around the first of the year.
I can email a resume if he wants to get an Idea of my history - or if his Co. is looking for another P.M. I have experience in that also.
thanks!
Allan - probably try to give ya buzz tonite or tommorow night - I'm sure the wife has some questions as well.
Thanks
