Default Turbos and carbs, too much hassle?

Anybody have experience with turbos and blow through carbs on a big block in a boat care to give me some feedback? Is it worth the hassle? My only experience with boost has been with either draw through blower or modern supercharged LS motors in cars. Never dealt with blow through carbs and wondering how much of a headache this could be or if it's not bad.

Turbos and blow thru aren't ideal at all. It takes lots of knowledge. Do draw thru or efi.
Blow thru blowers work great as you can tune the boost curve.
