I'm glad they are happy with their new boat, but let's be honest....that is a function of setup and nothing to do with the 500R's.

What speeds have they hit with the quad 500's on that?

Click-bait detected.....
I was quoting the owner, who happened to be very excited about the rooster-tail. Take it up with him.

For the record, "click-bait"—by definition—is done with headlines as the objective is to get the reader to click (open) a story by misleading the reader. Neither my headline nor my story was misleading in any way.

It's Nor-Tech's first delivered 500R boat. That qualifies as newsworthy, at least in my book.

Just looked up .. none of them came through. Sorry about that. Was more or less just yanking your chain.

When you are right you are right.

But I do hope the owner didn't spend all that $$ JUST for a rooster tail. Beautiful boat, but I can get a rooster tail out of my old 13 footer with a 25HP Envinrude if I trim it up enough.

umm. Instead of mounting 450Rs on the transom, they mount 500Rs on the transom. What else could they do?

”Just say no to the 500R say Trond and Nils - we have a warehouse full of 450Rs and will keep mounting them for another 10 years” That would have been newsworthy.

No, actually, that would be pure speculation loaded with inference. What's more, it would have nothing to do with a company delivering its first boat with new power. As a rule, "firsts" tend to be newsworthy.

The story was read 2,000-plus times in less than 24 hours so I'm guessing a few people found it of interest. But hey, you're the newsman.

Have a great day.

I didn't read it, just looked at the pics! So 1999+ times the story was read!
