approx. 2 quarts down after replacing hyd. steering line that was going to the helm from steering pump on engine (imco dual steer) what steps to evacuate air?

With engine running, keep turning the steering wheel from lock to lock (maybe 10ish times) and adding fluid as needed. 99% of the time, this will get all the air out.
