BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) — A Rhode Island man has been charged in Vermont with possessing 26 pounds (12 kilograms) of cocaine with the intent to distribute it after federal authorities observed him putting packages into a kayak on Lake Champlain near the Canadian border, federal prosecutors said Tuesday.
Rodriguez tried to flee when agents confronted him but was apprehended.

funny how sometimes they can target the smallest things you think could be possible and sometimes you read things that should be easy or easier to know / arrest and it does not happen...

anyways, law is the law !

Wonder what the top end is on that kayak? He may have gotten away if he had a bigger paddle.
