Anyone have any suggestions for a gear oil filler pump or kit that actually works with an NXT drive? The small cheap plastic ones, i have to cut the little turning tabs off the sides of the threaded fitting to make it fit into the hole on the NXT due to the fitting not being long enough to allow the tabs to spin due to the recess in the drive housing. The metal ones with the swivel are too fat to fit into the little recess above the drain hole in the housing on the drive.
I have searched everywhere for 3/8"-16 pipe nipples that i could rig up to make something that works.
Any help would be much appreciated.

Can you sketch something up? Sounds like something I might be able to come up with something for.
Thanks. Brad.

I probably can't really do anything about the swivel, but a "nipple" long enough to get you past the prop shaft, or however long you actually need, should be easy enough.
Let me know.
Thanks. Brad.

I had this gearcase filler when I had Bravo boats. With the fittings in the pic and the Bravo extension in the link, I could do Bravo I drives without removing the zinc behind the prop. The pics really don't show a good representation of how long the extension is unless they have since shortened it. I sold the filler to my dock buddies when I went VRod but they still have it out in a machine shed where we still work on boats so if need be, I can get a pic and exact length. I have the quick disconnect fittings as extras but could not find an extra extension or I'd give it to ya.

Parts to build your own.

Do note without the extension the fat end of the screw in fitting would hit that collar/zinc? around the propshaft. You could always buy multiple extensions to screw together to get exact length if one isn't enough.

As always everyone extremely helpful! I have some questions out to stephenson instruments to see how long their barrel extension is. I might just buy the whole filler to make things simple!
Thanks Again everyone!

Just to follow up, i wound up buying the CDI electronics filler and the harris performance adapter that works with that filler. Just adding to the conversation in case someone else has the same question in the future. I havent tried it yet, but will try to follow up once i do.
I wound up with this combo because it was the cheapest way i could get a setup that:
had an adapter long enough to reach the NXT fill port
Had a swivel on it so its easy to twist in
Has a valve so you can shut things off easily
Easily holds enough oil to change 2 drives without refilling
