Its a thing and its a hoot. Offshore, sail, powerboats, cruisers.....we dont care as long as its powered and over 18'. Bring it, decorate it and wave at the kids cheering from the shores of the canals. Best part its free to register and participate. The parade route will be closed down to local traffic and the route is one way so no congestion. If you have ever done one of these, you know how much fun they can be especially for the people cheering on shore.
