Default New York Boat Show - Javits Ctr.

I just found out I'll be in NY (mid-town) the weekend of Dec 27-29th and I'm thinking about hitting the show while I'm there. Does anyone have any feeback on this show, if it's been good in the past and if it would be worth going to?

I went to it last year. I was already out there on business, so I figured why not? It was a fairly large show. There were a lot of large boats...Sunseeker, SeaRay, etc. The only performance boats that I saw were Forumla and Fountian. Still was a decent way to spend an afternoon in Jan.

Default NY Boat Show

The Atlantic City Show in February has surpassed NY in my opinion...but if you're close, NY is still a great way to spend a cold day in December...

Went a couple of years ago and like Audiofn said it was "SO SO" Going to Atlantic City and Miami this year. I also walked around Manhattan afterwards and that was cool but parking is a real *****.

I work in the city and try to make the show every year. Last year fountain and formula had the biggest displays go fast wise. Donzi brought about 6 or 7 boats as well. I think there was a lone Hustler at the show too. I found some cool stuff in the vendors area, and unlike the car show, you can get a beer at the boat show. If you're close, its worth the admission.

I `m looking forward to it!!!! Every year we get a gang together and rent a big van and haul ass into the big city Had some really wacky adventures, one year after sucking down a few 20oz Boat Show Beers I was hightailing it to the mens room. The was no lines for the rest rooms in the sailboat area Some guy mistook me for some dude who had sailed around the world singlehandedly I was feeling good from all that beer and played along for quite a while : He must think that sailer guy is a complete idiot :
