Default Bravo Inner Transon plate w/o internal steering

Hi - I am told Mercruiser made a Bravo inner transom p[late without steering accommodations/brackets. Is this true and if so, any idea what the part number is?

I know IMCO used to have one. Making an inner plate out of aluminum is easy if you have front and rear engine mounting plates.....if you are still using the factory engine mounts on the bell housing then its gets a bit more complicated making one

You could try a late model ITS inner plate, which I believe has the steering cyl mount machined off, 44187a12 (?).
