Hey Nick,
This model 28 has the cockpit liner removed with a lowered cockpit floor with padding with a very simple cabin design to remove weight and increase speed and acceleration.
We then glass in an insert ( race dash ) in the windscreen to mount the instruments and steering closer to center.
Overall this model saves weight and is designed for customers that do not care for cabin use.It is more like a hot rod.
I ran this 28 before it had the chiller installed on the motor and got 91-92 MPH. I think the chiller added another 75 horsepower from what I have been told.It should run now in the 95 MPH range in ideal conditions with a good driver on board.
Regards,
JO
