Good video of Patriotic Duty's record run. Congratulations to the team setting a record and doing it right!

Sorry, Jeff. While I was editing along, before posting on my thread from the time of these amazing records, your post went up 4 minutes before.

Sometimes it's about minutes, and at times the seconds are truly valuable. The 'Patriot Duty' team crushed Bob Nordskog's old record, but then the Weather Gods were kind this time.

Now I can't delete my post, but on the other hand; at least there's twice the chance that OSO members don't miss out on this fantastic short film.

No worries! I really enjoyed this edit, and really think these record runs are fun too and I hope it inspires more people!

Totally agree, Jeff. These two records will be tough to break, but with an equal v-hull it's very doable with at least the same luck with the weather and sea conditions.

The diesel record is quite a bit easier to break, since at the time the boys in Larry Smith's ex. 48' Team Scarab did it, they had pretty much all the bad luck possible kick in,

despite being extremely well prepared. The West Coast is no joke when mother nature decides to play games, and boats this capable are pretty darn complex.
