Ok well here is the solution, you need to use the RPM limiter feature and ENABLE it in the sniper tune software on the laptop. Then adjust it down to 50 (i think or 200rpm). Works like a charm, you need to also enable the OUTPUT and select #2 in the drop down menu in the sniper screen on the laptop version (not handheld) - then upload/save this tune directly to the ECU.. The shift interrupt wire will then get connected to the rpm limit wire (iirc it was yellow in the sniper one 10pin input/output connector but check first).

Is the handheld limiter different than the software on a computer? Have mine limited to 5600 using the handheld menu. Wouldn't setting it to 50 or 200 essentially not allow the engine to run?

Thanks for following up. When I configured mine I completely left the shift interupt out of the equation, but always knew i should add it in. Just didn't want to deal with figuring it out at the time

Thanks for doing all of this, once it's warm in 2 months I'll bring a laptop out there! I may msg you in the future with questions but I think this should be enough to configure it
