Not really sure of a better place to ask.
I am installing an L92 into a surface drive Glastron, yes more of a lake/ river boat but you guys know engine rigging the best.
The hull is a first year Glastron CVX20, a 455 Olds powered jet.
I am converting to an L92, this being the 6.2L alloy block factory numbers a bit over 400Hp, tuners say In the 450HP range with a free breathing setup.
Drive is one of Harry Scholl pulse drives.
My curiosity, The Olds motor had a 2"dia X 8" oil cooler.
I have no clue how to size this style of cooler, plenty of choices
I have some interest in using a flat plate cooler. The engine has a cooler bypass but no factory temp regulation built in.
Regards, Charlie N
