Inspecting my drive gears, I see the pinion gear is pitted. I have acquired new gear sets and have the ability to rebuild - BUT - I wonder if someone with "experience" wouldn't be worth going to.

Over the years, Mr Gadgets has been very highly regarded. Is he still around? If not any other suggestions?

Yes Mr Gadgets is still around. He's doing a drive for me right now, and has done a few others in the past couple years for me.
