Default Full hydraulic steering question

Finishing up full Imco system. Most of the parts are used except for the uni-mount. Sharing a pic of the exterior….

For the helm valve, does orientation matter? Donor boat had the lines, from the valve, facing the floor. For my boat, facing starboard would make for a very clean install and is preferred. This might be a silly question. Just don’t want to make an error in the homestretch. Appreciate anyone able to chime in with more experience. Can’t wait to be done on this massive winter project. Thanks!
