does anybody know where i can buy a savage oil cooler? it is the kind that bolts to the side of the block and goes between the oil filter and the block thanks.

There were at least two different types, maybe more. I have a spare one that is only an oil cooler (short) off a '97 7.4L I also have the PS cooler that went to it, if that's what you need.

i just need the one that is a straight oil cooler.when i bought the boat one motor did not have one. thanks

Why don't you take a look at mercruiserparts.com and look at an oil cooler for a '97 7.4L 300hp engine. If that is what you need, give me an address and you can have mine. You will need some water hoses and oil fittings. You are welcome to all the lines that I have, that were a take off.

I think I know the kind you're looking for. Check out CP performance online catalog for Olson oil coolers. Thay have the kind that bolts directly to the block at the oil filter.

thanks for the offer brad but the ones i am looking for mount to the side of the block and between the oil filter and the block. i saw the olsons in cp performance and they mount the same but look totally different. i found a web site for savage but they are out of finland or something. i was trying to find a place i could get them in the U.S. thanks again for the offer and the help.
